I drew this view of the Leifeng Pagoda while I was in Hangzhou, China, conducting a workshop for masters students at the China Academy of Art. This pagoda was originally constructed in the year AD 975, but collapsed in 1924. The current structure was rebuilt in 2002 with a different design.
